Which is the most fuel efficient and fastest car in India? The new Skoda Laura TDI diesel model. Yes, this is proved in a road test which was recently completed by a team of 6 members. In a non-stop full loop of Delhi-Kolkata-Chennai-Mumbai-Delhi which is commonly nicknamed as the Golden Quadrilateral, the car was found the fastest and the most fuel efficient drive in the expedition.The team covered a distance of 5941km and completed the drive in 75 hours and 32 minutes with an average speed of 79 kmph. The average fuel efficiency recorded was 10.26 kmpl as the car consumed only 584.46 liters of diesel. The car used for this drive was a standard model and did not undergo any modifications. The data will be soon submitted to the Limca Book of Records.
