Remember how the current generation of Punto was inspired from the internationally available Punto Evo, well here is hoping that the Fiat-sourced diesel engine is not the only thing the Japanese Automaker is taking from Fiat. Recently spy shots of a facelifted prototype of the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross, which is the international version of the Maruti S-Cross were spotted. The S Cross was launched in India about a month ago. The major difference between the international model and its Indian sibling is that the SX4 S-Cross gets the option of Suzuki’s all-wheel-drive system called AllGrip.

The test prototype remains majorly unchanged with exception to featuring revised lighting clusters at the front and back, in addition to the a new front bumper. No images or details pertaining to changes in the interior (if any), have cropped up.The international model comes with a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel powerplant, which are likely to be incorporated in the facelifted car. The Indian variant features a 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel units.

This facelifted variant of the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will probably go on sale next year in the international market but don’t expect it to hit the indian streets anytime soon. Especially keeping in mind that it has only been a month, since the S Cross was launched in India and its international model has been selling for a couple of years.
