Well this seems to be a season for omitting the errors made by car markers. Few are engaged in fixing the ignition issue and others in external features.
The news is out from the Japanese auto makers that the car manufacturers are recalling its crossover to fix the production problem. Suzuki the second biggest in manufacturing of automobiles, engine, motorbikes, ATVs and Outboard wheelers is facing production defects. The company is recalling its compact 70,000 Maruti SX4 crossover which was manufactured from 2007 till 2010. The problems these cars are facing are of the loose screws at the outside rear view mirrors. As per the report, submitted to the American Government that, the mirrors often get loose due to vibration and can fall which may create safety risk. The report was given by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which states that there are three screws which helps the mirror to stick in place but with the vibration, the mirrors tend to get loose and come out which may cause accident. As per the company's American spokesperson, the defect will be quickly replaced as soon as the parts arrive. The company has apologized for the inconvenience caused.
Mitsubishi the Japanese company, the second in row is recalling 19,000 or more Endeavor SUV wheelers. The crossover which were manufactured from 2006-2008 are being recalled to fix the air conditioning issues. As per the company, the flow of the air changes randomly and the temperature can switch between cold and hot. This may cause defect in the defroster of the car which can further worsen the situation and result into poor vision and can lead to an accident.
The issue with the car is electric software problem which affect the air cooling of the car. The SUVs with manual air conditioning have this problem. The heater controller incorrectly placed in the SUV changes the direction itself and automatically changes temperature from extreme to mild or vice versa. Well Mitsubishi is not only busy with recalling the wheelers but is also planning to launch the new electric car i-MiEV in 2010 in the Los Angles Auto show next month.
