Tata Announces price hike across all its cars

As warned in Dec end, automobile manufacturers are coming up with not so great news of increasing the price of their offerings. Coming first in line is Indian automobile giant, Tata Motors announcing the hike in all commercial and some of its passenger vehicles. The range of increase in price is from Rs 1,500 to Rs 30,000. the major reason given behind this big hike is the increasing prices of inputs and other materials.
As per the reports Rs 3,000-15,000 hike will be observed in the passenger cars and Rs 1,500 and Rs 30,000 in the commercial vehicles of the Tata Motors. The flagship Indica and Indigo family will come at a increased price tag of Rs 3,000-Rs 15,000 which will also depend on the model ordered.
Coming to the utility vehicles, the all famous Tata Xenon, Tata Safari, Tata Grande MK II and Tata Sumo will get dearer by Rs 8,700-14,500. whereas the commercial vehicles from Tata portfolio will face an increase of Rs 1,500-30,000 more. Rest of the offerings from Tata stable will carry the old price tag. The company showed its intention back in last moth saying that the prices of inputs is increasing at an alarming rate and soon company will have to take some serious steps in order to maintain the reasonable margin. The company also commented that the people's car, Tata Nano will remain unaffected by the rise and so is the case.
