Tata Aria to be launched in October

Tata Motors has said that it will launch its brand new Tata Aria within a month. The new Aria will be a cross-over between a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and multi-utility vehicle (MUV). The new Tata Aria, revealed at the Auto Expo, is a stylish four-wheeler model built for Indian customers. The new model is expected to give tough competition to Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova.  

As per the auto industry sources, the new Tata Aria is expected to be available with the price tag of around  Rs 10 lakh.  A representative of Tata Motors stated  that the new Aria will be introduced within a month and Tata Motors is seing a lot of opportunity in the coming festive season. The company has also planned to implement various features in this new model so that it may take on models like Bolero, Innova, Xylo and Scorpio. However the  company officials have not yet made it clear that whether  Tata Motors will provide Aria with the price tag that will be higher than that of its competitors like Innova or Xylo because the competition will be really tough.

Tata Motors also stated that it will declare the price of Tata Aria along with it’s launch because the model will be packed with lot of exclusive features. The Aria incorporates a 2.2-litre common rail diesel engine. The new model displays the combination of comfort and functionality of a mid-range MPV. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and 6 airbags are some of the safety features incorporated in this model.
