The Tata Curvv EV will be launched in 2024, and ahead of that, another of its test mules was spied doing the rounds. The latest spy shots give us a clearer look at what its rear could look like.
Looks Same As The Concept
The rear design of the Tata Curvv appears to mirror that of its concept version showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. Angular LED taillights can be seen under the wraps, and its coupe roofline and tall-ish tailgate are also evident in the image above. While not prominently visible in these images, previous spy shots of the Tata Curvv have also revealed the inclusion of flush-type door handles.

Based on the previous spy shots of the front, the Curvv will get split and vertically stacked headlight setup as seen on the facelifted versions of the Tata Nexon, Tata Harrier and Tata Safari. Talking about the profile, it will get aerodynamically styled alloy wheels as well.
How Will It Look From Inside?
We are yet to see how the interior of the production-spec Tata Curvv will look, but based on the recent updates of the Tata Nexon, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari, it is expected to feature the new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
Features on board the Tata Curvv could include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, automatic AC, and ventilated front seats. In terms of safety, it is expected to come with six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera. Tata might also offer the Curvv with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like autonomous-emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control.
Powertrains
The Curvv EV could offer a driving range of up to 500 km; however the specifications of the battery pack and electric motor are yet to be revealed.
The ICE version of the Tata Curvv on the other hand, will be powered by a new 1.2-litre T-GDi (turbo) petrol engine which makes 125 PS and 225 Nm. The transmission options are yet to be confirmed, but it could get the option of a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).

Expected Price & Rivals
We expect the Tata Curvv EV to start at Rs 20 lakh, while the ICE version of the SUV-coupe could have a starting price of Rs 10.5 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). The Curvv EV will go up against the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric, and its ICE version will take on the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
