Tata Motors JLR and Dassulat Systemes form partnership for product management

Tata Motors proud owners of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) the British luxury car maker, is now in partnership with French 3D technology Dassulat Systemes. The French company will help JLR in lifecycle management process and product development. It was reported that the partnership will observe advanced digital three dimensional (3D) development and stimulation tools which will change Jaguar Land Rover's car development processes.

As per the company sources, JLR will use Dassault Systems V6 for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) – it is the process which will control and drive all the automobile development process as well as help in enhancing operational efficiency. It will also help in decreasing complexity via better innovation and rising development capabilities.

The two firms will develop together industry leading product creating solutions. The report reveals that the firm other than supplying the present existing system programmes, JLR and Dassault Systemes alliance will also work towards the development of solutions and newer processes which will offer simplification combination and specialisation required to generate new generation of premium auto mobiles.

The report disclose that the venture which will ensure strategic cooperation contract that will raise and reveal the amalgamation of innovation for better and intelligent automobiles. As per Jaguar Land Rover, Dassult systemes was selected as preferred partner in PLM field and will follow 18 month evaluation. Ralf Speth Chief Executive Officer of JLR said that together it will bring commercial benefits and significant technical acceleration to the British luxury company. He also said that Dassault Systemes will offer tools and processes which will develop the auto mobiles efficiently and create quality vehicles.
