Based on the XT variant, it is available with both petrol and diesel engines
To celebrate the first anniversary of the Tigor, Tata Motors has rolled out the Tigor Buzz, a limited edition variant of its sub-4 metre sedan. The Tigor Buzz edition commands a premium of Rs 12,000 over the XT variant it is based on. The petrol version costs Rs 5.68 lakh, whereas the diesel-powered sedan is priced at Rs 6.57 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
For the additional cost what you get are some cosmetic updates that make the Tigor a bit more youthful and sporty to look at. A glossy black roof, piano black outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), dual-tone wheel covers with special colour inserts will mark the Buzz out immediately. A closer inspection also shows the discreetly coloured rings on the grille and the limited edition badge too. On the inside you get premium fabric seats and red surrounds for the air-vents. The mechanical details remain as they were and it is available with both the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel engine, it can only be had with a manual option.
Its good to see that the Buzz has been offered on the XT variant as it packs crucial safety equipment like ABS with EBD as standard. it also has the connectNext Infotainment system that is paired with a high quality music system. However, Tata should have offered these features on the higher variants too as dual airbags are offered XZ variant upwards and the XZ(O) offers the reversing camera too.
