The Tata Nexon facelift has been launched after a long wait and all its details have been out for some time. While we already know everything about its changes and feature upgrades, Tata has just recently revealed the claimed mileage figures for both its engine options. Let’s see how its fuel efficiency figures are compared to that of the pre-facelift Nexon.

The new Nexon gets the same engine options as its pre-facelift version but comes with two new transmission options for its turbo-petrol engine. When compared, the petrol engine gives a slightly higher mileage, but the difference in fuel efficiency for the diesel engine is negligible.

The turbo-petrol unit makes 120PS/170Nm and the diesel mill churns out 115PS/260Nm. Both these engines are compliant with the BS6 Phase 2 norms and get four and two transmission options, respectively.
Features & Safety
With this update, Tata has loaded the Nexon with a suite of new features. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, paddle shifters, and a touch-enabled climate control panel. Other features like wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats and a single-pane sunroof have been retained from the pre-facelift Nexon.

In terms of safety, it gets six standard airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor.
Price & Rivals
The 2023 Tata Nexon is priced between Rs 8.10 lakh and Rs 15.50 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom) and continues to rival the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Mahindra XUV300.
