One of the most beautiful cars we know, the Range Rover Evoque stands apart in the sea of conventional SUVs. To make things more exciting, there is a new, limited edition of the mesmerising SUV, called the Ember Edition, which comes in black, with red contrasting roof, rear skid plate and front bumper tow-line.
The ‘ember’ theme continues on the inside as well. The seats are covered in black leather with a contrasting red stitch. The dashboard and the ambient lightning have the same colour combination as well.
Technologically, the car now comes with a new InControl Touch Infotainment system – borrowed from the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – and has a 10.2-inch touchscreen with a customisable home screen. This can be upgraded to the optional InControl Connect Pro system featuring real-time traffic flow, street-level imagery and live apps.
Apart from the colour scheme, the exteriors feature a black front grille and new 20-inch, five split-spoke alloy wheels in dark grey. The front and rear tow eye covers are dipped in the same shade of grey. The headlamps and tail lamps are also darkened to merge into the black silhouette. The black exhaust completes the dark look of the Ember edition.
Phil Simmons, Land Rover’s studio director for exterior design realisation, said, “We wanted to give the Range Rover Evoque Ember Limited Edition a sporty feel; contrasting the intensity of the Firenze Red with Santorini Black really shows off the Evoque’s stand-out proportions.”
If you ask us, this edition adds character to the Evoque and really makes you want to own one. Also, do watch the expert review of Evoque to know all about the car.
