Hyundai Exter, the latest SUV from the Korean carmaker, is all set for its launch next month. Hyundai has already revealed the car through some images of its exterior and interior and it has also been spotted outside the country, but now, the Exter has been spied on Indian roads for the first time ahead of its July 10 launch.
What’s In The Spyshot
In the spy video, we only get to see the side and rear profiles of the Hyundai Exter, that too under disguise. As seen in the images revealed by Hyundai, the H-shaped tail lamps are clearly visible on the test mule. From the sides, the test mule can be seen in a white shade with black roof rails and silver alloy wheels.
Powertrain Details
Hyundai will offer the Exter with the same engine which is present in the Grand i10 Nios: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (83PS and 114Nm) paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. This engine will also be offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit mated to a 5-speed manual with lower output figures.
Features & Safety
Hyundai recently revealed the interior of the Exter and it looks similar to the cabin of the Grand i10 Nios. The features of the Exter are also similar to the Hyundai hatchback. It gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 4.2-inch MID with a digitised driver’s display, cruise control, wireless charging, an electric sunroof, a dashcam with dual cameras, and automatic climate control.
