#FIRST2EXPO- WITH THE BIGGEST MEDIA CREW ON GROUND, CARDEKHO BRINGS TO YOU THE MOST EXTENSIVE COVERAGE OF AUTO EXPO 2016.
World’s largest automaker has showcased the hybrid derivative of its Camry premium luxury sedan at the ongoing Auto Expo. The car has been on sale in India, ever since it was launched about a year ago and is available at a price tag of Rs. 32.2 lac (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). In Delhi, not only does this particular sedan capitalise on benefits from the Government's FAME scheme, but is also exempted from the odd-even rule - as it falls under the hybrid vehicle category.
Speaking of hybrid, under the hood, Camry hybrid incorporates a 205PS hybrid powertrain, which sources its grunt from a combination of a petrol engine and an all-electric motor. The result? Well, Camry being a car of this size, is well capable of delivering a fuel-efficiency of 19.1kmpl. With a price-tag of Rs. 32.2 lacs, not only is this car far more powerful than the likes of its rivals, such as BMW 3-series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but is also far cheaper and much more eco-friendly.
As far as the aesthetics of this car are concerned, the first thing that strikes you about the all new Camry is the huge airdam at the front, which encases fog lamps that are surrounded by chrome accents. Speaking of chrome, the car is draped in it and incorporates the same to accentuate the front grill, which is relatively sleeker when compared to its previous iteration. At the front, Camry hybrid flaunts projector headlamps, whereas at the rear, the redesigned taillamps continue to incorporate LEDs.
