However, in tandem with the current trend to clear out the inventories at its sales outlets, especially the petrol models which are stagnated due to the continuous petrol price revisions, the Toyota dealers have decided to offer lucrative discounts including its best-selling models.

Toyota dealers are offering discount of around Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 on the petrol variant of Toyota Corolla Altis. Toyota Motors dealers are gearing up to refill their respective catalogue with fresher models for the approaching year. The Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback petrol variant sales were slightly affected since the launch of the diesel variants coupled with the slowdown in the car market. Hence, the Toyota dealers lately introduced major discounts on the Toyota Etios petrol twins comprising of the abysmal insurance coverage of Re 1.
