Toyota to bring its Prius Model in India

Toyota the leading car manufacturer which has a collaboration with Indian kirloskar Motors is planning to launch its Prius model in India. The Prius Model is expected to launch by the end of the year 2010. The Prius Model is expected to launch from TKM's Bidadi plant near Bangalore. Toyota is expected to launch this model in both 1.2L and 1.3L engine.

The production of this car is in  the middle stage  and this process is expected to take about 2 more years. The Prius Model will be available in sedan as well as Hatchback versions. Toyota is also spreading its dealer base in India and company is working on plans to its dealer base from 82 to 150 by the year 2010.
