Toyota Motors recently asserted that it will start exporting Etios duo to South African markets from March 2012. The car manufacturer managed to witness a growth of 6%, almost doubled, mainly contributed by the amazing sales of the Toyota Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback.  The Etios twins will be produced locally, but the car manufacturer will have to develop the cars to suit the demands of the South African market. The basic design structure and the specifications will be moulded according to the local consumers’ preferences.

Looks like, Toyota India has some big plans in store for the Indian car market. The car manufacturer hopes to ramp up the production by 2013. This also includes setting up a new manufacturing unit in Bangalore apart from the transmission development unit.  This step from the global auto giant is all the more required as Toyota intends to bring its compatriot and subsidiary Lexus to India around the same time. Now that there is going to be a new plant up and functioning for Toyota India, the auto giant might also increase the localisation of their India line-up.
