Toyota Motors is trying to develop its stance in the diversified interests. According to the reports, Toyota India is taking a sneak peek at the possibility of supplying the sports cars for the upcoming event to be held in mid-2012. If everything falls according to the auto giant’s plans, Toyota India will have the sole authority to meet the requirement for the sports cars of the contestants. If any particular team finds the cars not quite their cup of tea, they can take the liberty to transform the cars to cater to their needs.

They will be responsible to supply as many as 25-30 cars to the various participating teams. However, the plans are still in the pipe line and need a final nod of approval from the Federation of International Automobiles (FIA). For those who find this to be Greek and Latin, FIA is the governing body that organizes various motorsports events including Formula One races across the world. During the upcoming event, the races will be distributed among three different tracks in India. The Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida for one, the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore and Madras sports circuit in Chennai.

A new wing, Toyota Racing Development is being contemplated to undertake two issues at hand. The development of the motorsports car will be the prime objective, apart from their constant effort to improve the performance of the existing Toyota line-up in India. This step towards venturing into motorsports is a complete deviation from its usual style. However, Toyota India will be making the most of it by selling the developed sports cars to the team and reap benefits out of it. Volkswagen, on the other hand had been a mere supplier of sports cars at their very own Volkswagen Polo Cup series held recently.
