Toyota's hybrid vehicles to step in India

If everything goes well, world's leading auto major, Toyota will launch its hybrid vehicles in India. The news is confirmed by a senior official of the company. Toyota is also mulling over to launch a new car model in India. Katsuhiko Koganei, Assistant Manager (Global Strategic Planning Group), TMC, told that the company is studying the possibility to launch hybrid vehicles. Home work for other alternative fuel is also conducting along with it for the global market. Mr Koganei did not disclosed the time frame and the name of hybrid model that to hit Indian market.

If sources are believed, the company might launch Toyota Prius in the country. Meanwhile, there is another good news for the customers. Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Yeti are scheduled to be launched in India very soon.
