In the Indonesian market, Japanese carmaker Suzuki is planning to launch a new variant in the Ertiga lineup and it will be called as the Ertiga Dreza. Before the official launch, this vehicle has been trending on many online portals. Dreza and Dreza GS will be the two variants available on offer; the MPV will get three exterior paint jobs- Black, Grey, White and Violet Shade (GS trim). The length of the vehicle has also been extended; the new Ertiga Dreza will be 4,325mm in length as compared to the standard variant, which stands at 4,265mm.
Cosmetically, the Dreza edition gets a new front profile with a redesigned grille and front bumper, new LED daytime running lamps, new chrome lip along with new inserts on fog lamp housing. The side profile has been enhanced by the new re-designed alloy wheels and side sill guard. Roof-mounted spoiler, high mounted stop light and the 'Dreza' moniker are the main highlights of the rear end.
On the inside, the MPV gets a two-tone seat upholstery, wood panel for its instrument cluster, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Phone sync and Apple Carplay as seen in the recently launched Baleno. ABS with EBD and airbags are expected to be standard across all the variants.
No mechanical updates are speculated as of now and the car will continue to use the tried and tested K Series engine. Ertiga was recently updated with the inculcation of SHVS technology in the Indian market and we can expect this variant to be added in the Indian lineup soon.
