Volkswagen is all set to unveil the facelifted Cross Polo at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Cross Polo is basically a beefed up version of the regular Polo hatchback. The updated model gets changes both exterior and interior.
The facelifted Cross Polo features a new silver accent on the 17-inch rims, roof rails, side view mirrors and lower bumper. It also gets the smoked tail lights. To offer ruggedness, the company has added plastic cladding all around the lower end of the car.
Inside the cabin, the updated VW Cross Polo gets new steering wheel, handbrake lever, upholstery and gear knob. The European spec model will be made available in three petrol and diesel engines with power output varying from 75PS to 109PS. However, it is expected that the India-bound model will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre diesel engine.
