Used Cars Sales on a hike this Navratri

In Navratri the used luxury car segment has seen a 50% hike than the previous month. The used car segment is at its boom this October as the month holds auspicious value. A record sales was on the October 8, the first day of Navratri. The festive month has bought smiles on the faces of the car dealers, who has seen a hike of 50 per cent in the used car market.

As per the dealers, almost a hundred cars have been booked and in that almost 25 per cent are the premium luxury cars.

With the experts review that say that the used car is available almost on the spot with the price range cheaper than the new ones is one of the main reasons for sales of premium luxury cars.

Mercedes Benz India, the German Car makers launched their used car wing 'Proven Exclusivity Program' on 12th August in Ahemdabad. With almost 30,000 cars on road, the decade old German Auto makers decided to take cars from their old customers and revamped it and sold them through their own outlets.

With Mercedes India's launch of Proven Exclusivity Program in June, the company has already sold around 400 cars across India. As per the stats, the sales of Mercedes India went upto 10 per cent and the sales were of 4158 units from January to September this year.

As per the dealers, they see higher growth in the up coming time as the big players are coming out with the used car section. With the brand value they sell their own used cars which helps in extracting the customers confidence. With the research done by the big players, they keep a vigilant watch over the used car sales. They also ensure timely servicing with other benefits which holds the customers.

The Luxury car market is huge potential auto market which includes the big players like BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Nissan. The used cars in higher segment offer a price which is 20-40 less than the new models depending on the condition of the car.

The used car market is on a high as the cars are three to seven year old and the car dealers giving them an option of exchange on the latest models.
