Volkswagen Beetle to be launched in India in December

The year 2009 has been the year of auto products launch so far and the end is expected to be same. Volkswagen is reported to bring its Volkswagen Beetle in India by December. The car was developed initially as a people's car but it is not the case in India as the cost would be much higher. The price range is believed to be around $20,000 thereby placing it in luxury car segment in India. The car is expected to be displayed in upcoming Auto Expo in Delhi. In the meantime, a news Volkswagen Polo and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X are believed to be launched in India early next year. Volkswagen sells Volkswagen Passat, Volkswagen Tourage and Volkswagen Jetta in India at present.

the car should have been priced between five to six lakhs,it would have been a good buy
