Volkswagen, 'Innovations for Everyone' campaign becomes a success

Volkswagen, the German craftsman best known for affixing advanced technology started a innovative campaign known as “Innovations for Everyone” in the beginning of September, 2010. Volkswagen partnered the event with Nat Geo channel. The German automobile maker were astonished to receive participation entries from across India by more than 5000 individuals sending their thoughts and ideas on the engineering and technology. In the event finale, the German auto motive awarded its premium sedan Volkswagen Vento to the winner.
Mr Lutz Kothe, the Volkswagen India Marketing Head, said that, Volkswagen believes innovation plays a vital role in its products. The event was organized with the aim to make aware and bring the consumers nearer to Volkswagen as a brand. He added that, the company with the campaign wanted the people to explore their thoughts and give their ideas which will be competitive for the modern world. He further said that the company is excited with the response the company has received with the campaign organized for the first time. The company is keen to carry on with the campaign in the coming times.
Volkswagen other than the success of the campaign, is also enjoying another feather in its cap as the auto giant is at top position issued by Insurance company for being the safest car. The award itself speaks for the receiver as the company has endowed its car with the best possible advanced safety features. The prestigious award is a green signal for those consumers who looks forward to purchase a safe car. As many as 66 cars were considered by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety group recently to select a winner for “top safety pick award”, 2011. Volkswagen with the auto giant brand Audi, Hyundai and Kia Motors, received 9 awards. Volkswagen received the safety award for its well established cars Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen Jetta SportsWagen, Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen GTI, Volkswagen Touareg and Volkswagen Tiguan. The winning cars also included the company's Audi A3 and Audi A4, the premium sedans.
