Volvo S60 featured in Hrithik-Katrina starrer Bang Bang

The Hrithik-Katrina starrer action-packed thriller flick 'Bang Bang' will feature flamboyant passion red Volvo S60 R-Design sedan as their ride! The movie Bang Bang is produced by Fox Star Studio and directed by Siddharth Anand is releasing on October 2.

Volvo updated S60 sedan and XC60 SUV last year October, both the cars got a fresh new face with other tweaks both inside-out but the engines were carried forward as this was a mild-facelift. Moreover, Volvo India recently launched a sportier looking version of the S60 and XC60, christened as R-Design. Volvo XC60 and S60 R-Design (which is also featured in the movie) are basically a meaner looking stylistic upgrades, the cars are exclusively available in Passion Red shade with black treatment inside out.

Volvo S60 is available in two diesel engine options, a 2.0 liter and a more powerful 2.4 liter diesel. The 2.0 liter oil burner churns out 181hp of max power and 400Nm of max torque. While the more punchier 2.4 liter extracts 215hp of max power and torque is up by 41Nm compared to 2.0 liter diesel making it 441Nm. The 2.4 liter diesel is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission while the 2.0 liter is mated to an 8-speed automatic box; both the drive-trains offer front wheel drive layout.
