Maruti Ertiga: The Maruti people mover ranks highest on the popularity charts and that reflects in its waiting period. Except for Bengaluru, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Thane, all the cities command a waiting period that could stretch up to 40 weeks (10 months) for some variants. The numbers suggest that petrol buyers will have to wait comparatively longer than diesel buyers.

Maruti XL6: If a petrol MPV ranks high on your list and wait for the Ertiga is getting a bit too long in the tooth, XL6 has a relatively lower waiting period across the board. Of course, it’s more expensive than the Ertiga but it’s a more premium offering as well. You can get it home just in time for Diwali if you are from Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Indore.

Toyota Innova Crysta: The Innova Crysta has no waiting in around six cities (Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore and Patna) while some regions will make you wait longer for a particular powertrain.

Mahindra Marazzo: You can get the delivery of your Marazzo by Diwali if you stay in Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Patna, Coimbatore, Indore and Noida. Elsewhere, the waiting period ranges between 20 and 45 days.
