      I did travel by Thar Diesel MT 4X4 between Delhi and jaipur before returning to Delhi. I travelled about 1200 km in four days and used about 7000 liters of petrol. (mostly with AC on).       It is a sturdy, strong, stable off-roader suitable for those who love venturing into the rugged countryside. The power and the mileage are complementary and the suspension system is fantastic.
