Latest Update: The Mercedes-Benz GLC received MY24 (model year) updates while its prices have also been hiked by Rs 1.45 lakh.

Price: The Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is priced from Rs 75.90 lakh to Rs 76.90 lakh (ex-showroom pan India).

Variants: It is available in two variants: GLC 300 4MATIC and GLC 220d 4MATIC.

Seating Capacity: The GLC is a 5-seater SUV.

Engine and Transmission: The GLC uses 2-litre petrol and diesel engines with mild-hybrid technology, coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The petrol unit develops 258 PS and 400 Nm, while the diesel engine is rated at 197 PS and 440 Nm. Both petrol and diesel units are being offered with Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard. 

Features: The Mercedes-Benz GLC boasts a portrait 11.9-inch MBUX  touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated/heated and powered front seats, dual-zone AC, and 64-colour ambient lighting.

Safety: In terms of safety, it gets nine airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features like active brake assist, active lane-keep assist, blind spot assist, and active parking assistant (optional).

Rivals: The GLC rivals the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60.

    My Perspective On GLC
    Overall road presence is good. I like the way this car drives and the comfort is excellent. One thing that I don't like about it is this. Much of chrome, I would have liked it better if they had given some black treatment instead of chrome.
