MG has yet to confirm whether the MG IM 5 will be launched in India or not. However, if it is launched, it can be expected to be priced upwards of Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).

What features does the MG IM 5 get?

The international-spec MG IM 5 comes with three screen setup, including a 26.3-inch touchscreen that also shows the instrumentation, a 15.5-inch passenger display and a 10.5-inch central display that can be used to operate all the car controls including the dual-zone AC. It also comes with dual 50W wireless displays, electrically adjustable and ventilated seats, a 256-colour ambient lighting and a 21-speaker sound system.

What are the powertrain details of the MG IM 5?

The MG IM 5 sedan offers three battery pack options and two drivetrain setups, providing versatility for different driving needs. Here are the detailed specifications:

• 75 kWh: Supports a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration with 216 PS of power and 450 Nm of torque, offering a claimed range of 650 km (CLTC*).

• 83 kWh: Equipped with an RWD setup, delivering 248 PS and 500 Nm, with a claimed range of 710 km (CLTC*).

• 100 kWh: Another RWD option, generating 300 PS and 500 Nm, and a claimed range of 850 km (CLTC*).

• Dual Motor AWD (100 kWh): Features one motor on each axle, providing a combined output of 579 PS and 800 Nm of torque. This setup achieves a claimed range of 780 km (CLTC*).
