- Miles Per Charge IssueThe battery is a major issue, it runs 80 miles in eco mode on a full charge. This car has a high per mile cost. Such a shame MG has not got this sorted as otherwise, the comfort is really good, has good ground clearance, has lots of great internal features including a good stereo and it is surprisingly spacious. The average distance from a long charge is 75-80 miles (50% motorway miles) it says 120 miles after the charge. I worked out it is costing us 20-25 paise per mile.Read More2
- True Review Of MG ZS EV.Except for the tyre issue, it's a great car. It gives a 300km range with one charge. Good city car. It takes one hr to charge. But tyres are very fragile. I have changed three tyres as I drive every day 21.1 km. On bad roads, tyres will burst often. On the positive side most easy car to drive and control. Good mileage. Large interior. - Comfort @ 0 CostI have driven around 3000 km in the city. And just want to say that it has been amazing. The drive is so smooth and easy that there is no fatigue at all. - Dont Trust MG Claimed Range.I am a ZS EV 2021 user, I have completed 10K km in 5 months and I have driven different patterns, different speeds, highways, city, and traffic drive. Latest Update: Details for the facelifted ZS EV have been revealed ahead of its launch on March 7.
MG ZS EV Price: The electric SUV is now priced between Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 25.18 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
MG ZS EV Variants: MG retails it in two variants: Excite and Exclusive.
MG ZS EV Seating Capacity: It is a 5-seater.
MG ZS EV Powertrains: The ZS EV’s 143PS and 353Nm electric motor is powered by a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery. Its updated battery pack has a claimed range of 419km.
MG ZS EV Charging Time: MG is providing a 7.4kW charger (can be installed at your home or office) that will charge from 0 to 100 percent in six to eight hours. The EV itself comes with a portable charger that can be plugged into a regular 15A power socket. This takes around 18-19 hours to fully charge the car. MG has also installed 50kW DC fast chargers at some of its dealerships. These can charge from 0 to 80 percent in less than 50 minutes.
MG ZS EV Features: Its equipment list includes an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, and an inbuilt air purifier. The ZS EV also gets cruise control, auto AC, projector headlamps, and connected car tech.
MG ZS EV Safety: The ZS EV comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, electronic stability control (ESC), and hill descent control.
MG ZS EV Rivals: It fights it out with the Hyundai Kona Electric. The Tata Nexon EV, although in a segment lower than the ZS EV, is also an indirect competitor.
