The German car maker launched the BMW X5 xDrive 30d SUV in the year 2006. The SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre, 2993cc, 6-cylinder, in-line diesel engine with exhaust turbocharger that returns the average mileage of 10 kmpl and churns out the maximum power of 245bhp at the rate of 4000 rpm and the peak torque between 1750rpm-3000 rpm is 540Nm. With a fuel tank capacity of 85 litres the SUV returns the mileage of 8.3 on city roads while 11.3kmpl when it is being driven on highways. The peak speed that BMW X5 xDrive 30d is capable of reaching is 222kmph . It delivers a remarkable acceleration of 0-100 kmph in just 7.6 seconds which makes it quite zippy for an SUV of this size. The engine is smooth, powerful and quite easy to handle which is no surprise because the Germans are known for their technologies and never do they let one down.
