Chevrolet Enjoy is one of the most spacious vehicles in its segment. The company has introduced a new version, which is has some new cosmetic updates. It is being offered with the same trim levels, with Chevrolet Enjoy 1.3 TCDi LT 7 being the mid range variant. Its exteriors and interior changes include black B-pillar finish, chrome garnished license plate, steering wheel with silver accents and mounted controls, chrome accentuated inside door handles, gear shift knob along with parking brake lever, which gives it a refined look. The company has not made any mechanical changes to it as it has the same 1.3-litre diesel engine. It comes with a displacement capacity of 1248cc and churn out 73.8bhp along with 172.5Nm. It is cleverly mated with five speed manual transmission gear box. The manufacturer has given it an efficient braking as well as a reliable suspension mechanism, which keeps the vehicle well balanced at all times. This vehicle has a good space and a well designed internal cabin, which is incorporated with a number of features. Its seats are well cushioned and provide ample leg space for all occupants. It has a driver oriented cockpit featuring an intuitive instrument and switch layout. The dual tone dashboard further completes the overall look. The advanced supervision cluster helps in accessing the range of user settings. This vehicle has a rigid body structure with sturdy beams that reduces the impact of collision and gives maximum safety to its occupants. It also has seat belts for all passengers, a high mounted stop lamp, an advanced engine immobilizer with anti theft alarm, seat belt pretensioner and so on. It is going to compete against the likes of Maruti Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Mahindra Xylo, Renault Lodgy, Toyota Innova and others in this segment. It is being sold with a standard warranty of three years or 100000 Kilometers, whichever comes first.

Exteriors:

The frontage has a trendy bonnet with a couple of visible character lines. Just below this is the bold radiator grille done up with a lot of chrome and has a company emblem. This grille is flanked by a nicely shaped headlight cluster, which is powered by halogen based lamps and side turn indicator. The body colored bumper houses a large air intake section that helps in cooling the engine quickly. The windscreen is pretty large and gives a good view ahead. It is accompanied by a pair of intermittent wipers. Its side profile is sleekly designed with B-pillar styling strip and a few character lines. The neatly crafted wheel arches are fitted with a sturdy set of 14-inch steel wheels, which have been covered with full wheel covers. These rims are equipped with tubeless radial tyres of size 175/70 R14 that have a superior road grip. The rear end has been kept simple and unruffled. It has a wide tinted windshield that comes incorporated with a wash and wipe function along with a defogger. A high mounted stop lamp is given for enhanced safety of the vehicle.

Interiors:

This spacious vehicle is designed very carefully and equipped with a lot of standard features. It has quite airy interiors, which comes with three rows (2+2+3) of very comfortable and impressive seating arrangement. All the seats have generous support for all the passengers and provide ample legroom along with head and shoulder space. The premium fabric upholstery for the seats gives a very sophisticated and classy appeal. Its new steering wheel with silver accent and chrome garnished AC vents, gear shift knob along with parking lever brake gives the cabin a refreshing appeal. The company has given it a 12V power socket in chequered finished center console for charging mobile and other electronic devices. Its dashboard is smooth and equipped with a number of features. Apart from these, it has a few utility based aspects, which are a large glove box, sun visors with passenger side vanity mirror, remote fuel lid opener, cup holders in front console, driver side storage in dashboard, front seat back pockets and so on.

Engine and Performance:

There are no changes to its technical specifications. This variant is fitted with the same 1.3-litre diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1248cc. It is also integrated with a turbocharger, which helps in churning out 73.8bhp at 4000rpm in combination with a peak torque output of 172.5Nm at just 1750rpm. This DOHC (dual overhead cam shaft) based diesel engine is coupled with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which sends the engine power to its front wheels. It is incorporated with a common rail based direct injection fuel supply system that allows the vehicle to return 18.2 Kmpl on the highways and 14.5 Kmpl within city limits.

Braking and Handling:

The front wheels of this multi purpose vehicle have been fitted with a set of disc brakes, while the rear wheels are integrated with solid drum brakes. On the other hand, its front axle is assembled with a McPherson strut and multi link coil spring is equipped to the rear axle. Both these axles are further accompanied by passive twin tube gas filled shock absorbers. It also has a rack and pinion based power steering system, which is quite responsive. This tilt adjustable steering wheel supports a minimum turning radius of 5.5 meters.

Comfort Features:

The company has blessed this mid range variant with a number of comfort aspects, which gives the occupants a pleasurable driving experience. The inventory of these features include interior courtesy lamp, driver sun visors with ticket holder, a day and night internal rear view mirror, all four power windows with driver side auto down function, remote keyless entry, cigarette lighter, rear defogger, luggage compartment light and an ashtray. It has a multi-functional steering wheel, which is mounted with audio and call control buttons. The illuminated instrument panel is equipped with features like a digital clock, low fuel warning light, multi-tripmeter, average fuel consumption, door ajar warning and driver seat belt reminder notification. The efficient air conditioning unit comes with rear AC vents, which cools the entire cabin in no time. 

Safety Features:

It comes with safe cage body structure with side impact beams, which is highly helpful in avoiding any collisions. The list of other features includes a dual horn, a centrally located high mount stop lamp, driver seat belt warning notification on instrument panel, door ajar warning, child protection rear door locks and many more such features for the protection of the occupants as well as vehicle.
