Fiat India has launched its much awaited contemporary urban vehicle in the country's car market, which is christened as Avventura. It is available in three trim levels with both petrol and diesel engine options for the buyers to choose from. This compact vehicle is going to compete against the likes of Ford Ecosport, Toyota Etios Cross, Volkswagen Cross Polo and others in this segment. The company is selling it in several variants, out of which, Fiat Avventura Fire Dynamic is the mid range petrol variant. It is powered by a 1368cc power plant that has the ability to produce 88.7bhp in combination with 115Nm. The braking and suspension mechanism are quite efficient, which keeps the vehicle well balanced at all times. It is incorporated with high terrain gauges for adventurous drive. The all around body cladding makes its look sporty. Its internal cabin is quite spacious and incorporated with a lot of features. The seats are well cushioned and covered with premium fabric upholstery. At present the company is selling this model series in six sparkling body paint options. The list includes Zafferano Orange, Bronzo Tan, Pearl White, Exotica Red and Minimal Grey, Hip Hop Black finish options.

Exteriors:

This all new contemporary utility vehicle has an aerodynamic body structure, which is fitted with striking features. To begin with the frontage, it has three tone bumper that is accompanied by a protective cladding. It houses a large air dam, which is flanked by a couple of bright fog lamps. The honeycomb radiator grille comes with chrome surrounding and flanked by a neatly carved headlight cluster. It is incorporated with high intensity halogen lamps and side turn indicator. The large windscreen is integrated with a set of intermittent wipers. Its side profile is dominated by black colored molding, which is embossed with 'Avventura' lettering. The flared up wheel arches are equipped with a modish set of 16-inch alloy wheels, which gives the side profile an elegant look. These rims are further covered with 195/55 R16 sized tubeless radial tyres. Its rear end has a black garnished bumper, which has a pair of reflectors and accompanied by chrome finished exhaust pipes. The large windscreen has a defogger along with a wash and wipe function. The sporty roof spoiler is integrated with a high mounted stop lamp.

Interiors:

The roomy internal cabin of this Fiat Avventuara Fire Dynamic is designed with a dual tone (Beige and Black) dashboard, which is equipped with features like an advanced instrument cluster, a sporty steering wheel, a large glove box and AC vents. The well cushioned seats are covered with premium fabric upholstery. These seats are integrated with adjustable head resistant. The second row seat comes with foldable function, which helps in increasing the boot space of the car. The illuminated instrument cluster houses a digital clock, odometer, multi-tripmeter, real time mileage indicator, distance to empty and programed speed limit buzzer. It also has programed service reminder, tachometer and a trip calculator, which includes range, mileage, average speed and duration.

Engine and Performance:

This variant is powered by a 1.4-litre petrol engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1368cc. It is integrated with four cylinders and sixteen valves using double overhead camshaft based valve configuration. It has the ability to churn out a maximum power of 88.7bhp at 6000rpm in combination with a peak torque output 115Nm at 4500rpm. It is mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which sends the engine power to its front wheels. It allows the crossover to achieve a top speed of 155 Kmph. At the same time, it can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph in about 15 to 16 seconds. On the other hand, this motor is incorporated with a multi point fuel injection supply system that helps in delivering a decent fuel economy. It can generate 11.3 Kmpl in the city traffic conditions, while its mileage goes up to 14.4 Kmpl on the highways.

Braking and Handling:

The company has given this variant a proficient braking and suspension mechanism, which keeps it well balanced at all times. Its front wheels are paired with a set of conventional disc brakes, while its rear wheels have been equipped with reliable drum brakes. This mechanism is further assisted by anti lock braking system along with electronic brake force distribution that helps in preventing the vehicle from wheel locking in case of sudden braking. Meanwhile, its front axle is fitted with an independent wheel suspension that has McPherson strut and stabilizer bar. While rear axle is assembled with torsion beam type of mechanism. Both the front and rear axles are accompanied by helical coil springs along with double acting telescopic dampers, which helps it to deal with shocks caused on uneven roads. It is bestowed with a highly responsive hydraulic power assisted steering system that helps in providing an effortless driving experience. It supports a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters.

Comfort Features:

This Fiat Avventura Fire Dynamic trim is incorporated with a number of convenience features that gives the occupants a comfortable driving experience. The advanced integrated music system comes with voice recognition function. It supports CD/MP3 player, radio with AM/FM tuner, USB interface and Aux-in port. The Blue and Me provides SMS read out function as well. This variant also has 60:40 foldable rear seat, which helps in increasing the boot volume of the car. In addition to these, it gets manual HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioner) unit with rear foot level vents, rear defogger, desmodronic folding key, electrically adjustable outside mirrors and all four power windows with driver side delay and auto down function.

Safety Features:

This latest contemporary urban vehicle is equipped with a number of crucial safety aspects, which protects the vehicle as well as its occupants. It has three point ELR seat belts for all passengers and it also has pretensioner and load limiters. The list of other safety aspects include anti lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, height adjustable front seat belts, door open indicator, central locking system, fire prevention system and an engine immobilizer with rolling code.
