Mahindra and Mahindra has a very elaborate portfolio in the Indian car bazaar. Basically, the car maker is known for offering very bold and sporty SUVs, but to cater the needs of sedan consumers, it offers Mahindra Verito sedan, which is affordable and comfortable. Originally known as the Mahindra-Renault Logan, the car is available in both diesel as well as petrol variants. Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 BSIII is one of the diesel variants in the range that has been equipped with a strong and fuel efficient 1.5-litre diesel engine and comfortable and soothing interiors. The engine is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 65bhp along with a peak torque of 160Nm. The engine has been coupled with the standard 5-speed manual transmission, which allows the car to deliver amazing fuel economy figure of 21.03 kmpl. The safety department of Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 BSIII is decent but not as impressive as you would expect it to be. The car model comes with halogen headlamp, collapsible steering wheel column, adjustable front along with rear seat head restraints and fixed front seat belts. Apart from these, the car also comes with an anti-theft engine immobiliser, child proof rear door locks, a prismatic day and night inside rear view mirror , laminated windshield along with a headlights on warning signal, tachometer and a double horn.
