Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India's largest passenger car maker has achieved a huge success with the help of its premium hatchback Maruti Suzuki Swift. This is currently the third bestselling hatch in the Indian market. Now, in a bid to maintain its sales, the company has introduced the limited edition version of Maruti Swift with a set of cosmetics on its body. This version is made available in limited number of units only and it is called as Swift RS . This limited edition version is made available in VXI (petrol) and VDI (diesel) trims and customers are required to pay a sum of Rs. 24,500/- only. This new version comes with several signature styling aspects in terms of both interiors and exteriors. This limited edition version also comes with RS 3-piece body kit which includes the front and rear bumper refinements and a roof spoiler. The company has designed the black and blue motor-sport inspired graphics in order to enhance the sporty quotient of this Swift RS. And for the first time ever, the company has introduced the black wheel covers with this limited edition version. There are several other refinements made to this premium hatchback, which will certainly lure the many of the individuals and auto enthusiasts.

Exteriors:

This Maruti Swift is undoubtedly one of the most popular hatchbacks in India and it is introduced with a set of exciting new cosmetic changes that enhances its sporty agility. This new version of the hatch gets the same body panel as its existing models but the motor-sport inspired graphics and a new style alloy wheels bring a sporty look to this hatch. The front facade of this hatch gets a sharply designed head light cluster with integrated turn indicators while the radiator grille is offered in perforated style with company logo incorporated on to it. On the bottom of its front fascia is fitted with a body colored bumper with air dam and fog lights are also incorporated in it. While the bottom of the bumper gets a blue color finish. This Maruti Swift RS is a petrol trim in its series and it is blessed with a 1.2-litre high performance engine, which is the same that is currently fitted in the existing versions. This is a 1.2-litre 16-valve K series petrol engine that has the displacement capacity of about 1197cc that churns out 85.8bhp at 6000rpm and produces a maximum torque of about 114Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is integrated with multi-point fuel injection supply system that enables it to deliver exceptional power and returns superior mileage. Its engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox that transmits the power through the front wheels and returns a class leading mileage of 18.6 Kmpl, which is impressive. This is perhaps the most attractive mileage in the segment, which attracted many of the individuals in the auto segment.

The Maruti Swift RS VXI is fitted with sophisticated braking and handling functions .
