- One Hell Of A Car!!!
I?m a proud owner of virtus topline 1.0 automatic. It?s been 8 months and 12,000 kms, I?ve taken this car on almost all kinds of terrain and this car never disappointed me. Honestly let me tell you what to expect from a 1.0 TSI engine. You?ll be amazed by the power that this thing generates, but you need to touch that 4K RPM atleast to feel that punch from turbo which ultimately leads to a bit poor fuel efficiency, but if you drive it sanely and don?t cross 2.5K RPM it will give you around 17 to 19 kmpl on highways completely depending on the traffic conditions, in an amazing expressway I?ve achieved 23.2 kmpl on constant speed of 85 km/hr on cruise control over 140 km journey with 2 persons on board including the driver, in city you can expect anywhere around 8 to 12 kmpl again depending on traffic and driving style. Comfort wise it?s good for good roads, in bad roads as the suspensions are on the stiffer side, you would fell discomfort and every bump will hit you, call a con or a pro as high speed turns manoeuvres feels like a glide and body roll isn?t a word for this car. Styling wise it?s still a head turner, I own the red colour and it?s too good to be true, I love the colour and so does people. Overall I would say that the new variant GTline is far more value for money than the topline as it?s has only taken away a few features but looks are the same and even enhanced. If you want pure performance go get the 1.5 GT as it in real is a more punchier and more aggressive engine, if you want a regular drive go for 1.0 Buy any of two and you won?t be disappointed!Read More
