Latest Update: The Renault Kardian has been unveiled globally.
Launch: Renault could launch the Kardian in India by June 2026.
Price: It is expected to be priced from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Engine & Transmission: The Kardian will be powered by a 1-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which makes 120PS and 220Nm. It will be mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
Features: Features onboard the Renault Kardian include a 7-inch digital driver’s display, an 8-inch touchscreen system (with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), 8-colour ambient lighting, paddle shifters, wireless phone charging, and auto AC.
Safety: The Kardian’s safety kit includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), an electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera. It also gets advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control, autonomous-emergency braking, and front collision warning.
Rivals: The Renault Kardian will take on the likes of the Maruti Fronx, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Brezza.
