- Car For Long TravellersThis car is for the people who are on wheels and have to travel a lot. If you are looking for comfort and cost effective car then definitely go for it. I own this car for past 4 years and am happy driving it. The fuel efficiency of this car is too good. Interior are ok type and you cannot accept too much from Tata motors. Space is quite good, can easily accommodate 5 full size grown people. Yearly maintenance cost is approx Rs 4000. Service centres are easily within your reach and you get good service from them. Overall I would give this car 3 rating. I m satisfied with the fuel efficiency and comfort of the car. This car is reliable and good for all purpose. You will enjoy this car a lot if purchased. Go for it and take a test drive. This car is really good and affordable. The boot space is awesome. The look is nice. I have driven this car a lot and I enjoy every drive in this car. go for it id you really want to have a good car with cost effectiveness and which will not be a burden in your pocket. Last time I went to Haridwar from Delhi and you will not believe that I drove to nearby tourist spots and my to and fro cost on fuel was just Rs 1000. It is so much cost effective car and so comfortable that you will really enjoy driving this car. Go get one now.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Indigo Simply Loving It.Bought new Tata Indigo eCS VX CR4 in Nov 2014. So far driven the car for more than 56500 Kms without investing any amount so far in the vehicle for break down. Only the regular service at every 10000 kilometres. Robust Engine performance, no problem in any category. Before comparing it with any other car in the same segment do not forget the amount that you had spent for the car.Driven my car from Delhi to Srinagar, Delhi to Manali several times, Delhi To Chennai via Pune, Indore, Jaipur without any problem. Many colleagues said to not purchase this car as it is Taxi car for personal use but I Ignored them and bought this car. Average servicing cost is around Rs9000 for 2 Services ie Silver AMC plan for 2Yrs 20000 Kms.Suspension Is RockSolid and Smooth. Compare its Smoothness on the roughest roads you can think of even with a VW Ameo(already taken test drive) which is the costliest car of the segment but even that cant meet up the smoothness of the ride Quality and the ease with which it goes over from any potholes. Driven My Car this Year 2016 from the Nothmost state J&K To southmost state TN in the Indian Sub Continent without any problem. No Engine overheating issue even after driving for around 18hrs a day. Mileage is a no concern. Full tank costing aroung 2000 for diesel around 55 a litre will take you not less than 550 KMS in any case even if you drive at the top speed or on the roughest roads even in the city conditions. The only feature i wish to be in this car is the airbags. The best part about the car is that if in case the car gets broken down for whatsoever issue, their would be a technician in the open market who would be knowing to repair the car as it is the oldest car of the segment that it created in the market.Tata is the king in defining the segmentIndigo Ecs was the first car of sub 4 meter sedan which even the best of the car manufacturers followed.First SUV of market SAFARI., & The story continues.Compare the thickness of the steel that is used in manufacturing this car and you will realise that the Quality of it.This is the best car that you can get in the Indian market for the given amount of its segment. the features are excellent and the only negative factor is the missing airbag even in the top end variant.Servicing and the maintenance cost is cheaper than othersVW Ameo around 7500K per service every 15000KMsAmaze 10000 Kms or every 6 months costs 5000 each and so onfor Indigo 8500Rs for 20000Kms or 2 yearsFinal Verdict:Looks ***Mileage *****Maintainance *****Ride Quality *****What else you can imagine by investing around a lakh less than competitors.Top speed driven so far is more than 165km/hr. Goes easily above 140kmph.So No Complaints except the Missing Airbags.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo

- Nice well n good to driveI have been using indigo ls for more than7 years and it had been driven for more than 2 lakh kilometer, still working beautifully without any engine complaint.Best class vehicle in mileage and best in sedan type for long travel .Spacious inside ..handling is extraordinary the car will be completely in drivers control whatever speed he takes. The only one disadvantage I noticed is the slow pick up.It takes seconds to reach our desired speed..Suspension is well and good and the best part of Indigo, its worthful for its price. If indigo had been altered it will be the best vehicle than any other sedan type cars in all its classes whether in mileage or speed or comfortable or handling or suspension whatever may be..It will be the best and the main advantage of indigo is its maintenance.Maintenance cost will be too low for indigo ls.Its suitable for all type of travels for eg ,for a long trip or to drive through a hilly area or for professional taxi drivers to ride in a city or to drive along with a family, for whatever purpose indigols, will be suitable.I had driven indigo for more than 3 hours at a strech and it didnt gave me any problems.Though it had its own engine sound it wont disturbs the passenger and the driver. The ground clearance is also a main factor and its well designed in indigo ls.For city travel its more suitable. The outer body is more stronger and there would be no fear of spending more money if the outside body gets scratched. Its engine is much more powerful and everlasting than any other cars which i have been using.I used to drive the car roughly but yet it didn't have any serious problems in it.Regarding mileage my car(diesel) is giving about 20 to 23km/lit.Handling is also well in indigo,I have noticed that in most cars when we reach nearly 120 km/hr we will lose our control and the car gets shaked due to wind or any other external agents, the maximum speed I reached in indigo ls is 127km/hr on Thirunelveli-Chennai bypass, though i had a fear in my mind it didn't gave me a feeling of fear,it was going smoothly on its way in a perfect manner. Moreover its a middle level family car and most of the middle class people can afford it.I had used swift desire ,maruti 800,honda city, beat and i10.Although they are good in various things like sudden pick up or various interior design etc, they wont match up to indigo when it comes to all fields. One more thing is the service quality, tata has good quality of service centers and their genuinity to the customers should be apprecaited. Finally ,the best suited car for Indian roads.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo

- Tata Indigo CS - A ReviewLook and Style: For the cars in segment I think this is the worst in looks specially the basic ones. Engine: The engine is nearly poor it can't give you life more than 2 lakh kilometers it dies at that them (For taxi owners don't buy this car it will need more service and when a bit kerosene is mixed in about 2000KM it looses its pickup try Etios or Swift) Comfort: Comfort wise it is a good car awesome for long rides. Pickup: It lacks in pickup by a huge margin Mileage: Maintained good by Tata but will Tata improve its engine?Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- The Cheapest Car - Cheap as in Poor Quality as wellTata Indigo eCS is the cheapest car? The poorest possible quality. A car one would not recommend to one's worst enemy. Note following stats: The AC rotary switches (rarely touched) on the dash board was non-functional in just 13 months of use. In my earlier third world Korean car, Santro, all the controls worked perfectly for 10 years, 100000 kms till I sold the car. The AC was non-functional within three years, 23000 kms of use. In Santro AC worked without any issues for 8 years 75000 kms. Door sealing in Indigo started coming off in just three months. Water flooded in during monsoons. In Santro I had driven the car thru full tyre deep water without any issues. The electrical connectors in two of the engine cylinders loosened in just 20 months, 18000 kms, leading to non-firing and knocking in the cylinders. Service levels are at the poorest. Complaints or feedback are just traded around without any affirmative outcomes.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
