Tata Indica eV2 Mint White

I live in Delhi and my commutation to office includes a drive of 30kms per day apart from the evening outings that again are long distanced. I was pretty clear before buying a car that fuel economy is very important to me and that I wanted to go in for a Diesel car. In the price bucket I had, Tata Indica fitted the best and served all my purposes. I went in for a Grey colored diesel Indica and have a family of 4 members, including children. I am so happy that my daily expenses are cut to half with this diesel car. I have to admit that Indica is extremely spacious inside and offers a really comfortable drive, unlike the conventional thinking about the Diesel cars being heavy to drive. I only got to know after I purchased the car that an additional feature is has is that of Child safety lock, it ensures that you have a safe and secure drive especially when with children. Braking system is very effective, that is if you want to stop suddenly, the braking system is so powerful that it helps you halt in seconds without feeling the jerks of it. My friends had the opinion that Indica looks like a transport car, but once I had bought it, they actually loved it, so much so that now they insist to travel in Indica only. I get a mileage of 18 kmpl in city (without ac) and 20 kmpl on highways (without ac). It is overall a good car but has a bit slower pick-up, which is especially felt when the AC is switched on. I felt strongly to write a review as I have been reading people saying that Indica is only good for Taxi purposes and is not a family car which is absolutely untrue. It is totally a family car and also a good one.
