The Glanza marks Toyota’s entry in the premium hatchback segment by bringing a proven, feature loaded product to the market. The Glanza is priced similar to the Baleno but brings better peace of mind with additional warranty and roadside assistance.

- Apart from dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, the Glanza gets ISOFIX as standard across the range.
- Gets plenty of standard features like LED projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen and push button start/stop.
- Comes with a 3-year/1 lakh km standard warranty as well as a 5-year/2,20,000km extended warranty.
- All engine and transmission options available from the base variant itself.
- No diesel option. All its rivals offer a diesel engine option as of now, including the donor car Baleno.
- Doesn’t take the Toyota baton forward by offering additional safety features like side and curtain airbags.
- Limited variants has resulted in higher entry point for buyers.
- Doesn’t differ visually from the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

- Manufacturing Defects- Don't Buy Toyota Glanza
I am the owner of Glanza for nearly 2 years. The experience during the 1st year is good. Problems started after that. There was an engine problem which was rectified by towing the vehicle to the showroom. No-fault disclosed, then AC failed. Again rectified at the showroom, without any defect identifying. Rusting started on the body in a year. Overall poor manufacturing quality. Not worth paying so much for poor manufacturing standards.Read More
