Latest Update: Toyota has unveiled the facelifted Yaris. Here’s how it looks.
Toyota Yaris Launch: It is expected to arrive in India by early-2021.
Toyota Yaris Price: The 2021 Yaris will likely attract a premium over its current price range of Rs 8.86 lakh to Rs 14.3 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Toyota Yaris Powertrain: Toyota will continue to offer the sedan with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that puts out 107PS and 140Nm. Transmission options will remain the same too: a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT gearbox.
Toyota Yaris Features: Its equipment list will likely feature the same LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED fog lamps and tail lamps. Apart from this, it is likely to get the same instrument cluster and steering-mounted controls as the pre-facelift model. The facelifted Yaris should be offered with an updated infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Toyota Yaris Rivals: The facelifted Yaris will rekindle its rivalry with other compact sedans such as the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, new-gen Honda City and VW Vento.
