Honda Jazz- More of a Rock, less of a Jazz.

What Happens when you take an old mistake add up a few engine options, increase space inside, decrease the price outside, a few electronic tweaks here & there..?? Welp, the answer is the all new 2015 Honda Jazz. No doubt, Jazz has been one of the most competitive cars in the market right now, giving tough competitions to Hyundai i20. In this review I answer some Questions that some may encounter while considering this car to upgrade their Garages. Let's Start with the Engine, What's Under The bonnet..? It houses around a 4 Cylinder- 90 Brake, Unicorn Power- 1.2 Ltr petrol engine & also has a Diesel option with a 100 Unicorns puffing out all that Power at around 200Nm of Torque..!! All that torque to the flywheel & I'm sure the diesel variant would be more than happy to drop your old car to its long deserved place, The Scrap Yard. Talking about the petrol engine, it is actually the same one that fires the City. With a decent 110Nm of Torque at the wheels, it shouldn't be a problem to help tow your girlfriend's car, while you give her a ride in your own. Is it Thirsty then..? Clocking at around 24-26 Kmpl, for the Diesel variant, Honda Jazz Designers have truly balanced the engine power & efficiency more than us trying to balance home & work life. But still, these numbers vary according to the physical conditions of the road, traffic & yourself. Driving slow & steady, You going to work may end up with a high mileage, But rushing home in the evening will drop it down to around 20 kmpl, & may God help you if you?re stuck in Delhi traffic. Petrol or Diesel..? If you're the kind of person that gets excited by hearing to the Engine make their own music during the ride, than you may want to consider the petrol variant. Though, even the diesel variant will create its own music over the years, but that?s not something you'd like to hear coming out of your car. If you're the kind of a person that wants efficiency & low maintenance costs, than you may want to take the test drive in the diesel variant. Manual or Automatic..? If you like gear shifts click-clanck-cranking through the transmission, you would be happy to be in a manual transmission car. However, Automatics would give you a more control free environment, where you no longer need to worry about the gear you're running in. How's the CVT..? The paddle shifters are a Great Add-ons giving you a more comfortable & handy way to control the gear shifts. Having paddle shifters in this car-in this price range is something to brag about. How does it Feel..? The Comfort & Space hasn't been compromised resulting in Jazz truly increasing the threshold for a car being labelled as a Hatch. You may not get the cozyness of all plush leather seats, But, the steering mounted infotainment control system will not let you get bored. You may get disappointed if you're expecting a massager seat, But, who needs a massage when you're racing down the tarmac at around 70 miles an hour..!! Final Verdict: The Jazz is truly a versatile car, bringing in the subtle driving experience of a sedan, throwing out enough power like a SUV. If you're searching for an all-day-every-day, All-in-one car, than Honda Jazz might be the perfect choice for you.. Enjoy your Ride.. Don't forget to use Seatbelts.
