MG Windsor EV CUV Initial Impressions In-person

Just checked out the new CUV segment electric car by MG. Surprised by the fact that a British automaker owned by a Chinese company is building far better cars in every aspect than Indian manufacturers. Kudos MG. We as Indians prioritize styling and features over performance and safety. MG has ticked every box with Windsor EV. In terms of styling, comfort, features, safety, performance and battery range. With an overall length of almost 4.3m and a wheelbase of 2.7m, MG didn't compromise on the practicality of this vehicle. The fit-finish qualities both inside out is on par when compared to its arched rivals Tata Nexon EV/Curvv EV. In terms of performance the Windsor EV makes 136 bhp and 200 Nm Torque which is good considering it is priced under 10lacs. The standout features including the so called "Infinity roof", 360 degree parking camera, 200+ colour ambient lightings, 15 inch infotainment screen with 80+ connected car tech, 135 degree rear seat recline angle, 6 way power adjust driver seat, 18 inch alloy wheels and a massive 640 liters of boot space. Lifetime warranty by the automaker is one step towards becoming the favourite automaker in the country by the customers. With a claimed range of 316 km on full charge, the only thing awaits is the drive impression of the car. Other than that MG has managed to create an EV which surely is going to impact the EV automobile industry massively this festive season in India.
