Volkswagen Passat spare parts

It is a excellent compared to other luxury segment cars,but service side very poor,no proper communication from VW when complained,i got top mileage of 21.5 on highways,but tyres got damaged within 10000kms

I drive a Passat (Petrol), 2010 December version. It cost about $ 40,000 (in Indian Rupee) and for the first three or four years, it rode well. The car has done about 1150000 Kms. The engine oil has been spraying all over and now the engine has given way (the engine sign on the dashboard blinks), and the estimate for fixing the problem is $10,000 (In Indian Rupee)! The car was always maintained with VW's service center and is clearly represents some manufacturing defect, as I had to feed a liter of engine oil every fifteen days for as long as I can recall. In short, the Petrol version turned out to be a lemon. A sad disappointment of what one thought was a dependable brand.

I have Volkwagen Passat (GJ1 -0192 , the car is good to drive gives good average also , however the after sales service at Both the dealers at Ahmedabad is far below the acceptable level , the car had been under repair for over a month, they say a part is not available with them , it problem is with The AC ,it will not cool the car and the fan will not stop till you stop the engine . the trouble started just after it came from the Dealer after service it is really bad on part of company to continue with this type of service and spare support . it appears I have made mistake by purchasing the Passat , Model , I will not recommend any one to buy the Passat due to such Hope less after sales service . .

Look and Style is okay, Comfort is Good, Pickup is Excellent, Mileage is about 14 KMPL Best Features: It would be comfort and low noise inside while riding Needs to improve: Air condiioning which is extremly poor in Indian conditions Overall Experience: It was Satisfactory. No free services. All are paid services & expensive. Less service stations in India and in the event of an accident or if requires repairs you will have to run pillar to post to get it done on time. Sometimes, they will keep the car for 2-3 weeks and when you visit their any of the workshops, you will notice a lot of car's parked.

Dealership takes a month to acknowledge the problem and eventually rectify it. Had a wonderful experience driving it without Aircon in 45 degree centigrade heat for a month. - Front suspension damaged at 55000 kms. Company says Indian roads are potholed, no warranty is applicable, shell out 50000 bucks and get it repaired.  Free Advice - Please get the roads repaired before driving their cars - Engine malfunction sign keeps appearing. Probably the air in Delhi is too polluted. Shudder to think what's going to happen next   Overall Experience poor only because of the reliability issues
