Best car in the segment. It has been 4 years since the car was initially launched and the design is still cool. The seats are best in class. Volvo undoubtedly makes the best seats in the market. The engine is very powerful with its 181 BHP and 5 cylinders. The 8-speed gearbox is very responsive. Inside the car is also cool with its LCD gauge cluster. The infotainment system looks a bit outdated but the interior quality is uncompromising. And the most important thing in a Volvo is 'safety'. It has 8 airbags and a roof with some Volvo engineering which gets the roof undamaged even if the car topples upside down. It has automatic braking if very proximate to something. The car has got electronic stability control which makes the car steady even in turns. Overall it's a worthy car for the cost.Read More

In this segment, Volvo has outshined its competitors giving the Indian market it's new winner. Best in class, safety, power delivery and especially a mileage of exceedingly 26kmpl on Highway, though the company's quote is 27kmpl. It's my belief that with this cool new 2019 front grill will give the real Sweden feel. And when it comes to comfort it's much better than the Mercedes C class giving the extra thigh support which you'll miss in the Mercedes. April 14, 2017: Volvo Cars India has launched the S60 Polestar in India at an introductory price of Rs 52.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It shares the underpinnings with the T6 variant of the mid-size luxury sedan but its 2.0-litre pertol engine produces 367PS of power and 467Nm of torque. Power is transferred to the road via Volvo's all-wheel-drive tech and that helps the car post an impressive 0-100kmph time of 4.7 seconds.While it is all about power-packed performance, it still promises to be the safest cars in its segment. Apart from the usual list of safety features, like airbags and ABS, the S60 Polestar will also feature automatic emergency braking at speeds up to 50kmph. It competes with the likes of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 and the Audi S5.
