When you look for the meaning of luxury in Oxford dictionary, it reads “state of great comfort or elegance, especially when involving great expense". Well, the first part is quite right (and we all have desire for it), but the second one damn! The great expense? In this volatile market, where the price of a product actually tells us whether we need it or not. In this price critical market, is it not possible to own a luxury without spending too much? Can luxury be a middle class family's household thing? Well we definitely don't know anything about the jewelry or clothes, but what we do know is luxury can be bought in four wheels. If you are looking for one, we have just the ideal car for you. Oops sorry, by car we meant ‘Caaar’- the all new Nissan Sunny, segment’s most spacious car. Nissan Sunny is now priced between INR 6.99 – 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) which is pretty decent seeing the overall package and features it carry.
Nissan introduced the facelifted version of Sunny in July first week. The car embraces a high degree of spaciousness and comfort. With the ABS, EBD, Brake assist and Drivers side airbag as standard feature, the car is a safe heaven for your loved ones. The manufacturer has introduced Nissan Sunny facelift in 8 different variants with 6 exciting color options to choose from.
The interior adorns piano black finished central console with 5.1-inch infotainment system with reverse parking camera. The music system comes with the USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Adding more to the luxury, the automaker is also giving two additional option which will focus on Leather and Safety. The Leather variant emphasis more on the leather seats, leather wrapped steering and gearbox while the Safety variants on the other hand provides two extra side airbags.
Nissan Sunny is offered in both the fuel trims. Under the hood, the Sunny facelift carries 1.5-litre HR15 petrol engine which churns a maximum power output of 97.7bhp and peak torque of 134Nm. The petrol model comes with an option of both the manual and CVT gearbox. The diesel model carries 1.5-litre K9K diesel powertrain which produces an output of 84.8bhp and peak torque of 200Nm. The diesel engine is mated to five speed manual gearbox which delivers an ARAI certified fuel economy of 22.7kmpl.
