150 Mercedes-Benz; Aurangabad makes a bold statement

Aurangabad, the city of gates famous for its textiles, gold handicrafts, heritage sites and often termed as a pilgrimage destination made a bold, aggressive and a very dynamic statement today. The city witnessed the sale of 150 Mercedes-Benz cars in a single transaction: valued at Rupees 650 million- the highest value car deal ever, in India. Of the 150 Mercedes-Benz cars, there are 13 S-, 74 E-, 39 C-, 6 GL- and 18 M-Class cars. It all started when a few like minded individuals and motoring enthusiasts came together with their shared passion to own a premium luxury car. Soon other enthusiasts joined them and the group increased in size- all of them driven by a same passion- the best premium car that the market can afford! In the months that followed they evaluated various options but finally zeroed in on brand Mercedes.

Mr.Rahul Mishrikotkar who bought an E-Class qouted on the occassion that they all have worked very hard to reach where they are today. They all felt that they deserved to satisfy themselves- and to realize a long cherished dream. It could only have been the best- and hence Mercedes was the brand to be. r. Sameer Mulay who bought an ML-Class added that the fascinating cars, impeccable service, customer oriented packages, as well as the high resale value made Mercedes the obvious choice. Of course, the Three-pointed star is an unsurpassable statement, were the summarizing words by the customers.

Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India added that the company has fulfilled the dream of almost 150 individuals in Aurangabad who aspire for the Mercedes brand. Aurangabad is an example of the new face of India, was his opinion on the day. For Aurangabad, this is not just a high value transaction- the Mercedes transaction has been a lever in driving up the image of the city. The exposure about this large volume car transaction has enhanced the real estate values. It has also created significantly high interest from investors many of whom are now actively contemplating entry into this city.

The purchase of 150 Mercedes-Benz cars in a single transaction: valued at Rupees 65 crores- the highest value car transaction ever, in India, he added. Mr. Chandravadan Bhandari commented that they are proud to extend their footprints to Aurangabad. Today the company inaugurated its new Authorized service center at Aurangabad. This state of the art facility spread over 10,000 square feet area will be equipped to deliver world class service experience and has a capacity to service more than 100 cars per month. This is a good beginning and the company looks forward to deliver world class ownership experience to Aurangabad customers.
