Mahindra & Mahindra has recently launched its new car model Mahindra Xylo on 13 January, 2009 and within two weeks of its launch it received a tremendous response with both auto-enthusiasts and customers. No wonder, its sales went to touch the marked sales of 1788 cars in span of two weeks. Moreover, bookings for the Mahindra Xylo have crossed the 4,000 mark since launch.
Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief of Operations, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said that this demand has led us to speed up production which was possible at short notice as both the Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra Xylo are manufactured on the same line. The pre-launch publicity led to the excitement which has made it possible. The car is being appreciated for its strong value proposition, luxury and comfort.
Mahindra Xylo offers an array of features including Flat Bed front seats, foldable flight trays, surround cool dual ACs, Intellipark Reverse Assist and the unique Digital Drive Assist System (DDAS), which has led customers’ perception of it as an ideal alternative to premium sedans
