2011 Mercedes Benz C Class to be unwrapped by mid July

Good News for Mercedes Benz lovers! The German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz recently uncovered the much awaited Mercedes Benz C-Class facelift. Further, Mercedes India confirmed that company is planning to release new car models without specifically naming any model. If sources are believed, the all new 2011 Mercedes Benz C-Class is currently undergoing certification test at Automotive Research Association of India, Pune before it is launched in July.

According to reliable sources, the latest model of Mercedes Benz is expected to come added with more than 2,000 new components compared to its previous version. The major difference is going to be seen in the design of front and rear sections of the car. The bumpers and light clusters are going to be newly crafted with sharper V-shaped radiator grille. Dr Joachim Schmidt, Sales & Marketing Director at Mercedes-Benz Cars said that the latest entry in Mercedes Benz fleet i.e. 2011 Mercedes C Class is a perfect blend of comfort and safety which is trademark of Mercedes luxury cars. It is worth mentioning that all Mercedes C class models come fitted with fuel-saving Start-Stop as standard feature. Also, with the presence of mighty 306bhp 3.5-litre V6 petrol under the hood of Mercedes Benz C350 BlueEfficiency model, the car shoots up to 62mph in just 6.0 seconds and produce 41.5mpg.

As per sources, it is also expected to come added with all the standard safety features which include Attention Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist and Parktronic to make the driving as safe as possible. Also, the car will be available in both the saloon and estate variants after the launch. In terms of 2011 Mercedes C Class price, it will be disclosed on the date of launching. However, as Mercedes India also intends to launch new Mercedes Benz cars in India, the 2012 Mercedes Benz A-Class is expected to come added with Mercedes’ MFA platform. The car is said to encompass front wheel drive in comparison with the BMW 1-Series which incorporates a rear wheel drive.
