2012 Tata Nano to come equipped with new features

Tata Nano launched by Tata Motors India two years back is now being updated as the new model of Tata Nano 2012 is soon going to be launched in India. Tata India is mulling to add more features in the upcoming Tata Nano.  Tata Nano is most likely to come equipped with new features like ABS, SRS airbag, front disc brakes, and left side mirror.

Though these changes in the car are really small but they surely make our driving much more easier and safer. The higher version of Tata Nano is most likely to be equipped with Power Steering and Anti-lock Braking System(ABS).Tata Motors have also claimed that they are going to launch the diesel variant of Tata Nano by 2012. This new version of car is likely to have a sub-1000 CC power-train that will be up to 20-30% more fuel efficient as compared to the other diesel engines of this capacity.

The earlier model of Tata Nano had lot of deficiency in it but then we can't even pinpoint it as it is most cheapest car out on sales in the world today. However people would surely have no problem in paying more for their safety which the Tata Motors will now be offering to them.Talking about the Tata Nano sales, the car was admired by the Indian customers initially and its sales started out with a bang, that the company instituted a lottery method to see who gets their Tata Nano first.

But slowly this small car lost its momentum and the company had to cut down its production as there were already many cars piled up outside their manufacturing unit and the demand was not even that much so that the company can sell out these manufactured cars.The company in April 2011 finally revealed that the production of this hatchback car has started again and the car has again taken momentum in the market, the company also said they had an overall increase of 13% in the sales through out the world due to this small car.Today also Tata Nano is among the top small cars in India and gives a a strong competition to the other small cars in India like Ford Figo, Chevrolet Spark, Volkswagen Polo etc.
