The auto giant from Czech Republic, Skoda has been working on the facelift of its flagship sedan Superb. The car has been recently caught in lens in China and the spyshots taken are the first clear pictures of the newfangled car. The spyshots reveal that the front and the rear facia of the car have received the major uplifts and it can be also be noticed that the design philosophy of the facelift has found inspiration from the Mission L and Mission D concepts of Skoda.
On the front end, the headlamps have been rendered more chic design which continues in the fog lamps; the grille bears close resemblance to the Mission D and Mission L concepts. Some minor changes have been rendered to the mirrors as well. The side profile of the 2013 Skoda Superb car looks pretty much the same to the current version of the car.
The rear end has won the lottery with the maximum amount of changes; the taillights look sharper and resemble the new Audi A6 sedan. The tail lights are also expected to be treated specially with some LEDs and the number plate has climbed up to the boot lid from the bumper which has now been provided with reflective stripes.
The world is going to get a taste of this treat in the latter half of the next year. Skoda India is also expected to be participating in the launch of this new Skoda Superb.
