2014 FIFA's official partner Hyundai announces Ricardo Kaka and Iker Casillas as brand ambassadors

FIFA's (Federation Internationale de Football Association) official partner for this season Hyundai Motor Company, on March 11, 2014 announced that the SantaFe manufacturer has selected Brazilian Ricardo Kaká and Spaniard Iker Casillas as its worldwide brand ambassadors for this 2014 season of the FIFA World Cup – Brazil.
“We are very excited to announce these legendary football stars as our World Cup Ambassadors,” said Mr. Tak Uk Im, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hyundai Motor Company. “Through Casillas and Kaká, we hope to share the passion and excitement of the tournament with every corner of the world, while once again showcasing Hyundai Motor’s commitment to the world’s most popular sport.”
Casillas, considers to be one of the greatest goal keeper's of all times, is currently playing as goalkeeper with Real Madrid C.F. He played FIFA world cup for three times. Kaká, also played FIFA world Cup for three times just like Casillas, Kaká is midfielder with A.C Milan. Kaká also bagged 'Ballon d'Or’ and ‘FIFA World Player of the Year’ in 2007. The Korean manufacturer also chose local brand representative in Brazil as Oscar Emboaba – a midfielder at Chelsea F.C.
Hyundai's partnership with FIFA is a long run affair which dates back to 1999 and at least for now, it will go till 2022. Hyundai has successfully been with FIFA World Cup 2002 (Korea-Japan), 2010 (South Africa) and 2006 (Germany).
Both of these player will be with Hyundai for a year long campaign ship which includes TV commercials and print advertisement, holdings, customer engaging activities both online and on-site. Not to mention that these footballers will definitely made link for the brand and the avid football fans!
